President: Kelly Wollner, E.I.

Kelly is a civil engineer working on the transportation team at Foth. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 2018 with a BS in Civil Engineering. She has been involved with ASCE since her freshman year at college. Kelly primarily works on roadway reconstruction projects and focus mainly on the stormwater, sanitary and watermain design. She is currently studying to take her PE test this year. She spends a lot of her free time playing volleyball (almost every night of the week). If she isn’t playing volleyball, she is traveling, working on her house, baking, or hanging out with her two cats.

Vice President: Parker Just, PE

Parker been active in the YMG for three years and has been a member of ASCE since he graduated from the University of Iowa College of Engineering in 2015. He is a licensed professional engineer in Iowa and Wisconsin and has been practicing engineering for six years. Parker works primarily on water quality projects including design of stormwater wetlands, stream restoration, and bioretention practices. In his spare time, he enjoys working on projects around his house, spending time with his fiancée, dog, and two cats, and weightlifting.

Treasurer: Fathi Al-Share, E.I

Fathi is a Structural Engineer at Shoemaker & Haaland Professional Engineers in Coralville, Iowa. He graduated from University of Illinois Chicago in 2018 with a BS in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering emphasis) and from Iowa State University in 2020 with a MS in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering specialization). Active in ASCE as a student and was a member of the committee organizing the ASCE Great Lakes Student Conference in 2018. He joined the ASCE Eastern Iowa Young Members Group as a board member in 2020. At Shoemaker & Haaland, he has primarily worked on large-scale industrial facilities, designing steel and concrete structures, and designing different types of foundations. Fathi is planning on taking the PE exam this year and becoming a licensed professional engineer. He enjoys playing soccer, traveling, and watching movies and sports in his free time.

Past President: Michelle Riedinger, PE

Michelle is a structural engineer with Shive-Hattery in Iowa City. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a BSE in Civil Engineering in 2016. Michelle's professional experience includes utility distribution tunnel design and assessment, education facilities and assessment of existing structures. In her free time, she enjoys mentoring a local Future Cities team and ringing handbells with a local choir.
